George Farah's Quick Weight Gain Stack

If you’re having a tough time gaining weight, or just need to gain some quality weight fast, give this a try. This is the exact program I’ve used in the past to build size fast and the program I’m using right now to come back from my recent surgery. With a total of almost 6,000 calories a day, this diet will put some beef on any hard gainer.

Who is George “Bulletproof” Farah?

I was born in Beirut, Lebanon, and spent my adolescent years in the military, fighting in the civil war. During those years in war torn Lebanon, one of my main outlets was working out with weights. I became very interested in bodybuilding and received lots of encouragement from a local gym owner who recognized my rapid progress. At age 15 and weighing just 148 lbs, I entered my first competition in Beirut and won the Overall to become the youngest Mr. Mount Lebanon ever.

A couple of years later I emigrated to the United States to join my mother and brothers, and after moving around for almost a year, settled down in Rochester, NY. I resumed weight lifting and bodybuilding and entered my first U.S. contest in 1991 at age 19 where I won the NPC Mr. Lake Ontario. A year later I entered two shows; the NPC Rochester Championships and the NPC Gold’s Classic and won my class in both competitions, weighing in at 152 lbs. Coming back in 1995 with 12 pounds of new muscle, I won the NPC Mr. Rochester Overall title.

In August 1997, I was shot three times at point blank in a robbery attempt in downtown Rochester. With two gunshots in my back and one in my stomach, I bled profusely from major internal injuries that, according to the paramedics, brought me near death 7 times. I was rushed to emergency surgery where I had my kidney and bladder repaired, my lower spine fixed, and half of my bowels removed. I ended up having my small intestine brought out to a pouch right above my right groin, a procedure called an ileostomy. During the 5 weeks I spent recovering in the intensive care unit, my weight plummeted from 200 to 130 lbs. I was discharged 4 months later and was finally able to go home. What an ordeal! I lost virtually all of my muscle, could not walk, and had an ileostomy bag to care for. I pulled all my strength and stamina together and decided to go back to the gym. Slowly and painfully I was able to regain some strength and muscle and built my weight back to 180 lbs. In January 1998, I had surgery to reconnect my bowels and finally get rid of the ileostomy. It took me 2 months to recover from that surgery - but what a relief. All that was left from my ordeal externally is a long scar extending from underneath my sternum to below my belly button and a small side scar above my right groin. From the inside, a short bowel with impaired digestion and absorption of food. But none of that could defer me from continuing my quest to become a professional bodybuilder.

Just six months after my last surgery, I entered the NPC New York State Bodybuilding Championships, with my weight now at 169 lbs, and won not only my class, but took the Overall, qualifying me for the National level. Six weeks later, I competed at the 1999 NPC Junior Nationals and took second in the Middleweight class. I rested for a year in an effort to gain more weight and then entered the 2000 NPC Nationals weighing 176 lbs, won the Middleweight class, and received my Pro Card.

I again took a year off to prepare for my Pro debut and worked my body weight up 225 lbs before I started my contest preparation. I stepped onstage at the 2002 IFBB Southwest Pro weighing 204 lbs and placed third, qualifying me for the most prestigious of all pro shows, the IFBB Mr. Olympia.

This past year I competed in the brand new 2004 IFBB Orlando Pro placing sixth, and the 2004 IFBB Night of Champions, placing sixth again out of nearly 50 of the top bodybuilders in the world and just narrowly missed requalifying for the 2004 IFBB Mr. Olympia.

Becoming a Pro Bodybuilder has been a dream come true, long awaited, and filled with pain, hard work, and extreme determination and I want to thank each of my fans for all of your support – I couldn’t have made it this far without you. This fall I’ll be having what I hope to be my very last surgery to clean up my abdominal scar, and then I’ll be hitting the stage in 2005 with a vengeance, looking once again for that coveted Mr. O qualification.

While this diet works very well for George, if you are not accustomed to consuming large volumes of food, please adjust the servings (and times to fit your training schedule) downward and build up gradually over time in order to allow your body to adjust to the additional calories.
