Not all coral
calcium is equal.
In Japan, where millions of people take
coral calcium every day, marine coral is graded as much higher
quality and costs far more than fossilized, land-mined coral. In
dissolution tests, 99%+ of marine coral calcium is ionized in
stomach acid, versus less than 85% ionization for land-mined
fossilized coral. Also, while marine coral has an optimal calcium to
magnesium ratio of 2:1, land-mined coral has had the magnesium
leached out of it over time and has a ratio of over 10:1.

Nutrient System
CORALadvantage is formulated to make it
effective even if you are deficient in one or more of the support
nutrients required for calcium absorption and utilization by your
body. Our all natural sango marine coral has a biologically optimal
calcium to magnesium ratio of 2:1, providing a natural form of the
primary support nutrient magnesium. To this we add our potent Full
Spectrum Support Nutrient System, with the primary co-nutrients
needed for calcium absorption, as well as secondary co-nutrients to
support the primary co-nutrients. For example, co-nutrients
essential to the absorption, uptake and utilization of calcium
include boron, lysine, manganese, and Vitamins A, C, D and E.
Magnesium requires Vitamin B6, and manganese and Vitamin B6 need
Vitamin B complex for absorption. Vitamin A needs zinc and Vitamin E

is done under the strict supervision of the Japanese government. It
is against the law in Japan to damage live coral reef. We use only
the sands and fragments that have broken off due to wave action and
fallen onto the ocean floor. CITES (Convention on Internation-al
Trade in Endangered Species), an international group chartered to
protect endangered species, specifically approved trade in coral
sands and fragments at its April 2000 convention in
Nairobi.

Calcium deficiency
is the root cause of many degenerative processes.
Our body
starts out in an alkaline state, but slowly—due to acidic and
acid-producing items in our diet like soft drinks, sugar, coffee and
alcohol—that changes. After the age of 35, more calcium generally
leaves our body than comes in. This creates a low-pH (acidic),
oxygen-deficient state of declining health. Our body uses calcium to
neutralize acids, and bones are the body’s storehouse of calcium. As
our body draws calcium from bones to deal with the acid, the bones

minerals and metals. It is produced in the volcanic rock,
mineral-rich waters of Okinawa, where the population has been
reported to live and remain healthy and active to over 100 years of
age. Bob Barefoot notes that cultures like this, which consume large
quantities of calcium and other minerals, have unusual health and
longevity.
Marine coral calcium has excellent absorption
properties, a naturally optimal 2:1 ratio of calcium to magnesium,
and though not that different chemically from synthetic calcium
supplements, seems to achieve far superior results. One reason is
that coral has an aragonite crystal structure that makes it much
more chemically active. The coral we use is also used by surgeons
for bone grafts and fusions, with an extraordinarily low rejection
